Stella Ann Alvarado

At the young age of 53, Stella returned to the embrace of the Lord on December 11,2023.

Stella is survived by her daughter, who made up the entirety of her world Alicia Alvarado (24). Stella was a beloved Mother, Friend, and Daughter to all who knew her. Her compassion and kindness touched the lives of all of those around her. Stella enjoyed life and loved spending time with family and friends. Stella loved music, traveling, dancing, helping those in need, and giving back to her community and loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her father Roberto Medellin and Brother in law Dian Carrigan. Besides her daughter, Stella is survived by her mother Alicia Medellin, Her sisters Rosalinda Carrigan, Elva Rivas, and Diana Rodriguez. Her brothers Louie Medellin and Bobby Medellin. Alongside several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

For those who wish to say their final farewell and pass on their condolences, the Viewing for Stella will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio,TX 78237, on Monday, January 15, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. for the public. The Rosary will commence on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. for a Mass of The Resurrection at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church located at 4222 S.W. Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78227. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd., San Antonio,TX 78237.
