Stella Gantz Kircher

Stella Gantz Kircher, age 92, passed away Monday, January 16, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on April 25, 1919 in New Berlin, Texas to John & Helen Gantz. Stella is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon W. Kircher; son, Vernon W. Kircher, Jr.; and siblings, Josephine Weilbacher, Walter Gantz, Clara Rosebrock and Antoinette Coren-Fisher. Survivors include her children, Gary A. Kircher & wife, Danalyn, Carolyn K. Obets and Nancy K. Mendicino & husband, Anthony; grandchildren, Stacie Smith & husband, Jeffrey, Tammy Jones & husband, Chris, Matthew Mendicino, Stephanie Cross & husband, Mark and Christopher Kircher & wife, Morgan; and great-grandchildren, Savannah & Payton Jones, Kylie & Logan Smith and Aaron Cross. Visitation will take place from 5:30-9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2012 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Annunication of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery, St. Hedwig, TX.
