

Stephanie Coleman Troilo, a beacon of light and joy to all who knew her, passed away on December 1, 2024, at the age of 58. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas on October 17, 1966, Stephanie spent her life touching the hearts of those around her with her friendly, funny, and adventurous spirit. She departed from this life in San Antonio, Texas due to a significant medical event, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and artistic brilliance.
Stephanie, a proud graduate of Alamo Heights High School in the class of 1984, carried her passion for the arts into higher education at The University of the Incarnate Word, where she honed her talents in theater. Her vibrant personality and her exceptional vocal talents led her to star in numerous stage productions, captivating audiences with her performances and leaving an indelible mark on the local arts community.
Her professional life was a reflection of her caring nature, as Stephanie dedicated herself to service at Club 12 and as a counselor at Haven for Hope. Her commitment to helping others was evident in every interaction, as she poured her heart into guiding and supporting those in need with empathy and understanding. Stephanie's work not only changed individual lives but also contributed to the betterment of the San Antonio community at large.
Though her career was marked by remarkable achievements, Stephanie's true essence shone brightest in her personal relationships. She was a cherished member of a family that loved her dearly, including her late parents, Raymond and Regina Troilo, and her late brother Thomas, Stephanie's sister, Elizabeth Troilo Maginn, and her husband Ralph Barrios, as well as brothers Christopher Troilo and his wife Angela, and John Troilo and his wife Janine, will hold memories of Stephanie close to their hearts. She was also an adored aunt to five nephews and two nieces, whose lives she enriched with her warmth and humor.
Stephanie's absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She brought laughter to every gathering, often recounting stories that would leave the room in stitches. Her adventurous spirit led her on many journeys, both on stage and off, inspiring those around her to embrace life with the same fervor and zest she exhibited every day.
In remembering Stephanie, one cannot help but recall the myriad of ways she made the world a better place. Her kindhearted nature, her infectious laughter, and her talent for bringing characters to life on stage are just a few of the gifts she shared generously. She was a friend to many, a confidante to those in need, and a shining example of how to live life with authenticity and joy.
As her family and friends bid farewell to Stephanie Coleman Troilo, they celebrate the extraordinary woman she was. Her legacy will continue to live on in the stories shared, the performances remembered, and the countless lives she touched with her boundless energy and loving heart.
Stephanie's life was a beautiful performance, one that ended far too soon, but one that will be applauded by all who were part of her audience for years to come.
A memorial service will take place on Friday, December 6, 2024, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, 102 Lorenz Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78209, with Father Kevin Shanahan, M.S.C., officiating.
