Stephen Murray Stokes

Stephen M. Stokes, age 58, of San Antonio, died Monday, July 22, 2013.

Stephen loved to attend his day program Senior 2000 and enjoyed coloring, singing, dancing and listening to music. He loved his summer camps, bowling and loved to fish with his dad at Canyon Lake.

Stephen was fun loving and always met a friend wherever he went.

He was preceded in death by his father Billy M. Stokes.

Stephen is survived by his loving mother, Jane Stokes; sisters, Sandy G. Young and Kimberly D. Lay; niece, Brandi Bass; nephews, Steven Bass, Josh Bass, Jordan Lay and Nicholas Lay; great-nephews, Cameron Wallace, Gunner Hay, Doss Langley, Josh Bass Jr., Andrew and Isaiah Bass; great-niece, Jamie Bass; and his second loving family Anita and George Rodriguez with whom he resided, Johnny Mora and Eric Lozano.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Odyssey Hospice staff and George Rodriguez Jr.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 5pm to 9pm at Porter Loring on McCullough.
