Sterling W. Grant, of San Antonio, died Thursday, November 8, 2001. A member of Windcrest United Methodist Church, she was also a sustaining member of the Junior League and had been an active sponsor of Kosovo refugees. Sterling was a loving and generous spirit and was the consummate hostess. She is survived by her beloved husband of 31 years, Eamonn Grant; son, The Rev. James C. Carter, Jr., Seattle, WA; and sister, DeKalb Bennett, Edgemoor, SC.
