

Steve served his country proudly in the Vietnam War, as part of the United States Air Force. He later graduated from the University of Texas and went on to work in facilities management for several hospitals in Texas, overseeing a multimillion dollar expansion of Methodist Central Hospital in Dallas. He later worked for the Texas Department of Health and Human Services and finished his career at the Bob Bullock Texas State Museum.
He had a passion for classic cars, drag racing and owned several cherished Corvettes. Steve was known for being a jack of all trades and master of many; he could fix anything and was a true perfectionist. He was also an artist, who enjoyed painting as well as listening to classic rock music. He was married on December 30, 1988 to Mrs. Linda C. Mullineaux and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Carmen Dromgoole and Phillip Markley and brother. Steve is survived by his wife of 28 years, Linda C. Mullineaux; children, Forrest P. Mullineaux and Evan M. Markley of Pittsburgh, PA, Camden J. Markley and his wife, Crystelle of Georgetown, TX and grandchildren, Paxton M. Markley and Merritt A. Markley, also of Georgetown, TX.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017, 2:00 P.M. at San Jose Burial Park.
