He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Meri Tabak; his sister, Mary Walters; and his grandson, Brady Rickman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Elsie Tabak; son, John Tabak; daughters, Debra Tabak, Karen Rickman and her husband, Robert; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Megan, and Todd Rickman.
He was a devoted husband, dedicated father, and a one of a kind grandpa. As he always told us, "Let's not say goodbye, let's just say so long, because we'll be seeing each other again."
