His dedication to the field of nursing was evident in his achievement of National Certification in the Operating Room (CNOR) and his role as a board member of the Competency & Credentialing Institute's (CCI) Certification Council, where he worked tirelessly to promote perioperative nursing excellence. Steve's nursing career came full circle when he became an instructor for the very same U.S. Army Practical Nurse Course in November 2017.
Steve's personal life was as rich and varied as his professional one. He was a dedicated husband to his wife, Mary Stephens Davidson, and a loving father to his daughter, Emily Davidson. A voracious reader, Steve was always abreast of the latest developments in science and technology, and he enjoyed exploring new worlds through his love of computers and PC gaming. His taste in music was as eclectic as his hobbies, being a dedicated fan of the rock bands Rush and Ozzy Osbourne amongst other varied artists.
Steve's sense of humor was legendary. He had a knack for making people laugh and could always be counted on to deliver a witty remark, a pun, or a clever joke. His intelligence shone through in every aspect of his life, from his strategic thinking in gaming to his insightful contributions to nursing.
