Steven Miller Forney

Steven Miller Forney, 60, passed away in San Antonio, Texas on the 13th of April, 2015. He wa born in Houston, Texas on the 23rd of February 1955, the second child of L. Bruce Forney and Susan Calnon Forney. Steve a fourth generation Houstonian, married the love of his life Katie on the 5th of June 1982. They had two sons, Travis and Matt. Steve enjoyed many outdoor activities with his family and loved taking them on camping trips throughout Texas. He graduated from Rice Aviation in Houston in 1987 and briefly worked as an A&P mechanic in Tuscon, Arizona, before moving to San Antonio in 1988 to work at Dee Howard. He then enjoyed a long career with VT San Antonio Aerospace as a program manager. Steve is preced in death by his father, Bruce and older brother, Michael. He is survived by his wife Katie; mother, Susan; his brothers, and sisters, Tom. Larry, Katjleen and Julia; his sons, Travis (wife Abbey) and Matt; his granddaughter Lauren Wren and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 10:30 A.M.on Saturday April 25, 2015 at the Grace Point Church Student Center, 9650 Huebner Road, San Antonio.
