Steven Michael Palans

Steve Palans peacefully left his grieving family on Friday, July 22, 2016. He was born in San Antonio on December 14, 1960 to Judy and Seymour Palans. Steve attended San Antonio Academy and Alamo Heights High School, followed by Austin Community College.

He began his career "at the age of three when he climbed a childproof fence and smashed every glass-front water meter on both sides of the alley," said his mother.

He then followed his dream by becoming one of the youngest licensed master plumbers in the state of Texas.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years Melany, sons Jacob and Garrett. Parents, Judy and Seymour Palans. Brother, David (Karen) Palans. Uncles Larry Pearlstone, Herb (Linda) Palans, nieces and nephews Leslie, Brian (Jessica) and Eliza Palans. Cousins Shelly (Larry) Mrazek, Kevin, Carly and Zach Palans.

A private interment is planned for Sunday. A public memorial service will be held in the Wulfe Sanctuary at Temple Beth-El, 211 Belknap on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at 2:00 pm.
