Our wonderful son, brother, uncle, and great uncle, Steve (Sparky) Taylor, went home to our Lord on Friday, March 11, 2011. Steve blessed our family by being born on June 15, 1957 in Houston, Texas. Steve died peacefully at his home he shared with his nephew, Rob Willis. He was such a good man, worked very hard and helped so many people. Steve had his own carpet cleaning business, Patriot Cleaning Services, and he loved his customers.
Steve is survived by his mother, Mary Chrisman; sister and brother-in-law, Kay Taylor-Nickler and Louie Nickler; brother, Ron Taylor and sister-in-law, Dee, all of San Antonio; brother Jerry Taylor and sister-in-law Amelia of Houston; one niece; 6 nephews including Rob Willis and Dimitri Willis, both of San Antonio; numerous great nieces and a great nephew and his dog Baby that he loved so much.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 22, 2011 from 6PM to 8PM at Sunset Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 12PM at Sunset Funeral Home with burial at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:30PM.
