

Susan was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and Texas Tech University with a degree in Sociology. She was a productive and proficient court reporter. Susan worked for various select courts in the Bexar County Court System where she maintained and expected a high level of professionalism and appreciated that in all who entered the courtroom. Her compassion and love was what defined her. Susan would drop everything just to be beside a friend in need. She was a true "room stopper", a warm and loving precious soul with a contagious laugh and a smile that brightened and filled every room she entered.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, Percy; her younger brother, Paul Howell and stepfather, Williston J. (Bill) O'Connell.
She is survived by her mother, Betty O'Connell; husband, Arch Adams and daughter, Bingham. Additional survivors include siblings, older brother, Bob Howell and wife, Ruan, Pat O'Connell and wife, Barbie, Warren O'Connell, Charity O'Connell Yarborough, Wayne O'Connell and wife, Dee, and Scott O'Connell and wife, CeCelia. Susan is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 2, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
