Susan "Sue: Jennings

Susan “Sue” Jennings, beloved wife of Douglas Jennings, mother of Jennifer and her husband Miguel Castilla, Jessica and her husband Oscar Llamas, “Grammy” of Jayde Harrington, Josiah and Katarina Castilla, was welcomed into the loving arms of her Savior on December 21, 2020. Sue passed away peacefully at her home in San Antonio, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Blanche and John Frederick. She is survived by her brothers, John and Robert Frederick, brother-in-law Grover Jennings, nieces and nephews, Tina Brown, Kristina Messner (John Messner), Christopher and Eric Frederick, and great-nieces and nephews.

Sue enjoyed traveling with her family to see new places and old. She and her husband were blessed with the opportunity to move overseas where they made lifelong friends and traveled the world. Sue would often recall the memories they made when traveling to the Christmas markets or to see her grandkids before they moved to Texas to be with them.

Sue was a blessing to those she met throughout her life and was a “second mom” to many. Although her family was her pride and joy, she was proud of all of her “kids”. All those she met loved her. She had a servant’s heart and would do anything for anyone, living her life as a follower of Christ. She was loving, kind, caring, and patient. Sue will be missed, but her memory will live on through those whose lives she touched.
