Susan Senter went to be with her Lord on July 14, 2021. Susan was born on April 19, 1965 and grew up in Allen, Texas. She was the daughter of a Baptist preacher and a school teacher/counselor. Susan always had a zest for life and a flair for the dramatic. She was kind, tender-hearted, funny, and laughed often. Susan was sporty and enjoyed tennis, basketball, volleyball, scuba diving, and skiing. She was an avid sports fan and cheered on the Dallas Cowboys, Baylor Bears and the San Antonio Spurs. Susan graduated from Stephen F. Austin University and loved her time of being a little sister of a fraternity at SFA. Susan was a beautiful young woman who regularly turned heads. Susan had a career that included positions at Sprint, EDS, HEB, and Plano Sports Authority. Susan never met a dog she didn’t want to adopt and she believed that an oversized Diet Coke with extra ice daily was good for the soul. Susan never married or had children but she adored her niece, nephews and her new role of Great Aunt. Susan also had a decades-long struggle with alcoholism which had heartbreaking consequences. She courageously battled with this disease until the very end. Susan will be buried in San Antonio next to her beloved parents at a family graveside service on Saturday, July 31st. Susan was a Believer and our conviction is that she is now at peace and rejoicing in restored whole life. She will be greatly missed by her friends and her family. Susan was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother (Scott Senter), sister-in-law (Lori Lee Grant Senter), niece (Madeline Senter James and husband Mason), nephews (Grant Senter and wife Megan, Lee Ryden Senter and wife Hannah, and Jackson Senter). We also want to express our appreciation to her friends and support within the Plano A.A. Group. Susan has now joined the great cloud of witnesses and we believe that she is wildly cheering for you!
