Susanna Jo Hebert

Susanna Jo Hebert, (Susie) age 66, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024 in Bulverde, Texas. She was born on January 17, 1958 in Jourdanton, Texas to Jo Evelyn Kurtz and Johnnie C. Caraway. Susie was preceded in death by her parents, Jo Evelyn & Johnnie Caraway; sister, Nancy Parrish; and an infant son Larry Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Larry M. Hebert; children, Karl D. Hebert (Polina), Brian P. Hebert (Stacia), Katie Jo Hebert (Steve); and seven beautiful grandchildren. Susie had many passions and joys in life. She loved going to the casino with her late sister Nancy and pulling all nighters playing (and somehow winning!) the penny slots. She cultivated beautiful gardens thanks to her amazing green thumb, and loved her orchids and desert roses; she enjoyed watching humming birds outside the kitchen window; but out of all her passions, the one she loved the most was spending time with, and spoiling, her wonderful grandchildren. Susie was known by many names: to her grandchildren she was Granny; to her children she was Mom; and to her husband she was Hot Stuff. Regardless of her name, she was known for her contagious smile, loving nature, wisdom, and iron clad memory. She is missed dearly.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 2, 2024, at Porter Loring Mortuary.
