

Our Beloved Mother went to be with the Lord on March 29, 2015 at the age of 65. She was a loving mother who supported her family independently. She worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 35 years. In her spare time, she loved sewing quilts for the young children and playing board games such as Yahtzee and Scrabble. She also enjoyed dancing whenever she heard music, especially to the oldies. Her personality was fun and outgoing, and she will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents: Eusebio and Amelia Guillen, 2 sisters: Belia Galvan and Elizabeth Morales; 4 brothers: Carlos, Luis, Martin, and Arturo Guillen. She is survived by 2 daughters: Kathie Granado and Karen Granado; 2 sisters: Gloria Salazar and Olivia Mireles: 1 brother: David Guillen; 4 grandchildren: Kerri Granado, Marcus Barron, Daniel Garza, and Devin Barron; and 1 great-grandchild: Claudia Granado; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A visitation will begin on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service to be conducted at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A chapel service will begin on Friday, April 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with internment to follow at Wild Flower Memorial Park Cemetery.
