Sylvia Z. Hernandez
September 1, 1959 – February 13, 2021
Sylvia Z. Hernandez of San Antonio, Texas passed away on February 13, 2021 at the age of 61. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 1, 1959 to Librado and Olivia Zuniga. She was married to Juan G. Hernandez for 44 years. Sylvia worked with the Harlandale, Lackland, and Alamo Heights ISD in the transportation department. She was a member of The Rock of Revelation Church and had a passion for Crafts; sewing and making floral arrangements. But most of all she loved serving the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her father Librado Zuniga; mother Olivia Zuniga; Sister Linda Salas; and her son John Gabriel Hernandez.
She is survived by her husband Juan G. Hernandez; daughters Evangelina Hernandez and Crystal Hernandez (Christopher); son Christopher Hernandez (Victoria Rae); grandchildren Jake Ryan, Victoria, Alexzandria, Julianna, Xavier, Hezekiah, Naomi, Chloe, Scarlett, and Easton Hernandez; sisters Elvira Flores, and Alice Aguillon (Eddie); brother Ray Zuniga (Diana) and Librado Zuniga (Debbie).
Family will be receiving guests for a visitation Monday March 1, 2021 at 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, followed by a prayer service at 6:30 pm, at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237. On Tuesday March 2, 2021 we will be departing Funeraria Del Angel Trevino at 9:30 am for a 10:00 am funeral service at The Rock of Revelation Church, 4717 Roosevelt Ave., San Antonio, TX 78214. The Internment will follow the funeral service at San Fernando Cemetery II - 746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237.
Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the Visitation at Funeraria del Angel Trevino - 226 Cupples Road 78237 - will be limited to 50 people in the building at a time. Face Coverings are required to be worn.

There's not enough space or words to do her justice. I love her and she knew it! Proverbs woman 100%!
The retreats together, teaching her to wallpaper, sharing things others wouldn't understand...
My favorite memory had to do with Juan's pants and she knows EXACTLY what I'm talking about and it's not anything vulgar!
I love her. I love her family. I missed you before you were gone.

To my loving aunt, know that you will be deeply missed! My memories will always include your laughter. Thank you for always being there to answer my questions in regards to my kidney transplant. I love you and will miss you! To my uncle and cousins, know that I am a phone call away should y’all need anything! I pray God grants you peace and strength during this most difficult time. I love you all ❤️
