Sylvia Bertha Soto

She met the love of her life David Soto Jr. in middle school. Soon after graduation from Fox Tech High school they were married. They started a family and had two children, David Benito Soto and Bertha Angela Soto. Sylvia had one grandchild, David B. Soto Jr.

Sylvia made many friends during her years working as a school secretary. She also remained very close with her friends from middle and high school. She loved to correspond with her friends and family via mail. She was the best at sending cards and notes to friends and loved ones for every season and birthday.

She loved her cats. Stray cats would always find their way into her heart. Once that happened her heart gave them a forever home.

Among the many of her talents, above all, she was a wonderful cook. We will miss her home cooked meals. Her recipe notebooks will certainly be put to good use.

Sylvia was 78 when she was called home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 4, 2024. Her death was unexpected. She was a beloved daughter, mother, and wife who will be greatly missed by her children, family, and friends. Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of over 57 years, David Soto Jr.
