She was born on June 5, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan, to parents Bellia and Alphonso Elizondo. Tanya was a wonderful artist and loved going to school and learning. She held a Bachelor of Fine Arts, which reflected her passion and dedication to the arts.
Tanya met the love of her life, Raymundo, through a best friend in high school. They were set up on a blind date to a high school dance, marking the beginning of a beautiful journey together.
In her personal life, Tanya found immense joy in creating art and spending time with her family. She was a wonderful mom and cherished her grandchildren deeply.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymundo Villarreal; mother, Bellia Moreno Elizondo; and father, Alphonso Elizondo.
Tanya is survived by her loving children, Linda Marie Gottman (David), Cynthia V. Luster (Dennis), Lydia V. Wuensch (Matt), Lt. Cmdr. Raymundo Villarreal Jr. Ret. Navy (Lauren); sister, Maria Ebert (Charles); 5 grandkids and 2 great grandkids.
