Terry, a lifelong resident of San Antonio, graduated from Alamo Heights High School in 1965 where he was a drum major, played baseball and ran track. He attended Southwest Texas State University and returned home to complete his Associates Degree. Terry loved to hunt and play golf. His passions were drag racing and guns. He was a member of IHRA and the NRA.
Terry is survived by his beloved wife Genevieve Hayes; children, Terrence Robert Hayes, III Trey and his girlfriend, Melinda Bickford , Shannon Layne Hayes and her fiancé, Jeffrey Abel, Jeanette Hayes Puerta and her husband, Jose, Rachel Rivera and her husband, Ray; parents, Vivian and Mac Hayes; granddaughters, Brittany Ann Sowder and Raynna Cristina Rivera; sister, Darlene Elaine Seesengood and her husband Earl; nephew, Shawn Seesengood and his wife Kristi; nieces, Kathleen Elaine Seesengood and Lauren Dawn Seesengood; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
