Terry E. Bennett

Terry E. Bennett, devoted wife, mother and friend chose Sunday, April 6th, 2008 to leave her loving family here on earth to go and be with the Lord. It was a beautiful, sunny day in San Antonio and as a lady, she knew it was time to leave.

She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and was a devout Catholic. She was a wonderful role model to her family and friends and blessed us all with her unending wisdom, wit, and love.

She was born February 6, 1929 to adoring parents Arthur and Margaret Brandt of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and will rejoice as they are reunited along with her sisters Audrey Walk, Caroline Burnette, and Lee Kudronowicz, who have all passed on.

Terry was married for 58 years to husband, C.C. Bennett and after raising their daughter, also raised their granddaughter as their own. She is survived by husband, C.C. Bennett; daughter, Linda Garza; granddaughter, Tracy Gardhouse Reyes and husband Lawrence Reyes; grandson, Jeffery C. Schaefer and wife Shawna Schaefer and two beautiful great-grandsons, Cody Christopher Schaefer and Wyatt Elo Schaefer. Terri's niece, Kimberly Ann Burnette Wood and husband Michael Wood as well as extended family include Dr. & Mrs. Vincent Caldarola and their children Ashley, Brittney, Vinnie, and Jenna; as well as her great-granddog, Miguel.

There is a hole in the hearts and lives of all who knew her and with the loving mercy of our Lord, we will be reunited with Terri someday. Until then, we will be grateful we knew her as she made each of us better.
