Terry R. Kemp, resident of Bandera, Texas since 1989 and formerly of San Antonio, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2001. He was born in Paonia, Colorado, and began his 20-year military career in the USAF Security Service at the age of 18. Shortly thereafter, he met his wife of 47 years and they traveled the world together with their two children. Upon retiring in San Antonio, Terry embarked on a successful real estate career owning and operating 5 offices. For the last 7 years, he owned Kemp & Associates, an income tax consulting firm. He was the ultimate entrepreneur and enjoyed many business ventures with his family always by his side. Terry will be lovingly remembered for his compassion, generosity, and unending optimism that affected all who knew him. He is survived by his wife Anne Shounder; son, David Kemp and wife Patricia; daughter, Karen Huckabee and husband Roger; granddaughters, Taylor and Meredith Gibney, all of San Antonio; many dear relatives in Lebanon, PA, lifelong friends and associates who knew him to be a good man and good friends.
