Thelma Lucas

Thelma was an excellent seamstress and loved to square dance. She enjoyed traveling and belonged to square dance clubs throughout Texas and Kansas.

Thelma was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Marvin Lucas; parents, three sisters, Wynona Allen, Alma Karhoff and Mary Tackett and two brothers, Oren Allen and Dillard Allen.

She is survived by daughter, Tressa (Matney) Harris and special friend Mike Harris; granddaughter, Ronessa McDonald and husband, Dave; grandson, Marc Matney and wife, Nicole; step-granddaughter, Adrienne Harris and husband, Steven Jugg; six great-grandchildren, Lacie McDonald, Jake McDonald, Mia Matney, Lily Matney, Arya Matney, Anastasia Jugg; brothers, William Allen, Dale Allen and wife, Ginny, Wayne Allen and wife, Betty, Wilford Allen and wife, Beverly, Raymond Allen and Benny Allen and wife, Phyllis and special friend, Vicki Catoe.

She loved her family and will be missed by those who knew and loved her. The family wishes to thank the staff at Garden Ridge Assisted Living.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 with a Service at 11:00 at Porter Loring North Chapel.
