

After graduating from Alto High School, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy Reserves from May 1945 to December 1946 as a Medical Corpsman. After his service, he attended Sam Houston State Teachers College. He went on to pursue a medical degree from the University Of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Upon completion of his internship at St. Paul Hospital, Dr. Glenn served in numerous capacities as a family physician and emergency room physician.
He opened his first practice in Texico-Farwell, Texas on 1/14/1957. He then decided to move to the psychology side of medical practice. Dr. Glenn served in many capacities through his certifications and affiliations; He was also a FAA Certified Flight Surgeon, Family Physician, Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatrist. He along with his wife Anna Marie (Bollinger) Glenn served the Cape Girardeau Community for over two decades, administering health and healing to many from 1979 to 2002. He maintained his licensure to include Texas, Missouri, New Mexico, Indiana, California, Colorado and Kansas.
Dr. Glenn is survived by his wife of 63 years, Anna Marie Glenn; son, Theodore (Ted) Glenn, Jr. and Ted's wife Gloria; daughters, Deborah Ann Barcroft, and Sandra Kay Glenn and her partner Suzanne; grandson, Christopher Dale Barcroft; granddaughter, Jennifer Fugate and her husband Josh; and great-grandchildren, Nolan and Finley Fugate.
