'I worked as the Administrative Supervisor for Colonel Hanna in SAC Advanced Echelon in Vietnam during 1972. Colonel Hanna was very good to me. Once a week in his office, I could use his phone to call my family in the states. At times, I would drive him to places in the staff car. He was a very good man.'

'I may not have had the honor of knowing Mr. Hanna on a personal basis, but the way his daughters talked of him, I know he was greatly loved. 'Ted was a valuable and favorite friend to my husband, Neil McLean. He and Hoa were there for us when our son, Michael, died and again for me when Neil died, October 19, 2000.
