

Theresa graduated from Alamo Heights High School and earned degrees in Finance from the University of Texas and Music Therapy from University of the Incarnate Word.Theresa traveled extensively and was involved in social organizations in Arvada, Colorado, and Rockport, Canyon Lake, Fort Davis, and Port Aransas, Texas.
Theresa was preceded in death by her father Egon Guenther; her mother Anita Guenther; and her sister Patsy Warncke. Theresa is survived by her brother Jack Guenther and his wife Valerie Guenther; Abigail Kampmann, George Kampmann, Camilla Kampmann, Elizabeth Kampmann; Jack Guenther, Jr., Lindsay Guenther, Jack Guenther III, Drake Guenther; cousin Richard Warncke; cousins Ralph Hill, Tom Hill, Steve Hill, Adele Kroeger, Tom Jungmann, their spouses and their children; Marla Chaloupka, Kenneth Mayer, Richard Mayer, their spouses and their children. Theresa is also survived by her husband of 32 happy years, Charlie P. Mayer and many devoted and loving friends from everywhere she lived.
Theresa was intrinsically happy, always smiling, and an uplifting soul to all that knew her. She was constantly singing happy songs - while walking on a beach, doing housework, or shopping the stores. Theresa accepted life as it was presented to her - was quick to adapt in the face of adversity - and never complained.
