Theresa S. Mirelez

She was born August 26, 1937, in Hutchinson, Kansas, the daughter of Angel and Manuela Garcia. She was the oldest daughter of 9 siblings.

She is survived by her children - Joseph Mirelez and family, JoAnn Mallow and family, Jacqueline Maddox and family, Mary Melle and family, June Mirelez, Jeanette Rubenstein and family, and Jacob Mirelez and family. She was also survived by 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Theresa was a devoted Christian and she practiced and preached her faith daily. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She touched so many people in her 74 years and her legacy will be carried on for generations to come.

A rosary and viewing will be held Tuesday, December 21 from 5PM to 9PM with the rosary to be recited at 7PM at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home in San Antonio, Texas. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, December 22 at 10AM at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church. She will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery.
