

Thomas spent his early years in Germany before moving to the United States with his family in 1970. As the son of an Army service member, he had the privilege of living at various military army posts until he graduated from Fort Knox High School in 1985.
A Specialist in the United States Army, Thomas served from 1993 to 2000 as a Traffic Management Coordinator. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Thomas never turned away enjoying a home-cooked German meal from his mother or spending quality time with his father. He looked up to his older brother Raymond, finding common interests in motorcycles and cars, and loved being an uncle to his niece and nephew. He treasured his family dearly and was dedicated to always being there for them.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Josephine and Augustus Cote; and Gerog and Margareta Hofmann.
Thomas is survived by his parents, Richard and Maria Cote; brothers, Raymond Cote (Sherri) and James Barfield (Lilly); niece, Amber Cote, and nephew, Brandon Cote.
