He was a graduate of St. Mary Catholic High School in Marietta, Ohio. He served two tours of duty in the United States Navy. He was also a former employee of the Federal Communications Commission.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rebecca Ann Sprague Davies of Converse, TX; two children, Justin Paul Davies of Converse, TX and Tisha Rene Sikes and her husband, James Mathew Sikes of San Antonio, TX; three grandchildren, Tara and her husband, Novor Valenzuela IV, James Mathew Sikes, and Caleigh Elizabeth Davies; and two sisters, Theresa and Rebecca. He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be a Graveside Service with military honors on Tuesday, October 5th at 11:00 am at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
