

Thomas Barton Nash passed on December 12th, 2021. He had an extensive acquaintance, both personally and on social media, who will miss his unique visage, his piercing commentaries and his incredible breadth and depth of knowledge on subjects common and obscure.
He spoke frequently about how much he valued the many friends and acquaintances he had made over the years. You were certainly appreciated. You brought light and energy, challenges and affirmation, fondness and understanding to his life. Thank you.
Tom was born on October 8th, 1955, to Thomas Willard Nash and Christene Barton Nash in San Antonio TX. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by several Nash and Barton cousins.
Tom was an avid genealogist and was a member of many historical and heritage societies, including the Sons of the American Revolution, the Magna Carta Barons and the San Antonio Conservation Society.
He held memberships in a wide range of civic and fraternal groups. Tom was an active member of the Masonic and Scottish Rites fraternities dating back to his days as a DeMolay.
Memorials may be made in Tom's name to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, the McNay Art Museum, and Meals on Wheels San Antonio.
