

He was born September 19, 1928 in Haynesville, LA. Tom graduated from the University of Texas. He worked and provided mentorship with both the Austin and San Antonio Chamber of Commerce followed by a distinguished career with Quincy Lee Industrial.
His greatest enjoyment came sharing his love of adventure of the road, water, and mountains with his family and many friends. He was a former American Water Ski Association president, Austin Aqua Festival board member, and Adaptive Sports Association of Durango, CO volunteer.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby W. Perkins and Trebie Perkins; his son Craig M. Perkins; his brother William T. Perkins and sister, Nelwyn Perkins Cole; and his former wife Diane D. Perkins.
He is survived by his son Bradley D. Perkins of Santa Fe, NM; his sister DeValerie Perkins Kiely of San Antonio, TX; his grandsons, Zane Perkins, Vance Perkins and their mother, Maryanne Perkins Malicki of Austin, TX.
