Thomas “Pete” Peters, age 85 passed away December 7th, 2018 at his home in San Antonio, TX. He was born September 5th, 1933 in Jackson, Mississippi to Joseph and Bertha Peters. Pete was the youngest of six children.
He is survived by his wife Beverly Peters of 19 years.
He is also survived by his children from his first marriage: son Thomas Peters, daughters Julie Peters and Michelle DeLeo and grandchildren Tatiana, Danielle, David and Rachel.
Pete graduated from Saint Joseph’s high school in 1952. He was an accomplished athlete and his love of sports continued throughout his life. He served our country in the United States Air Force and retired after 22 years. Pete went on to his second career as a facilities manager at St. Phillips College. Pete enjoyed spending time with his family, bowling and tinkering in his workshop.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be missed dearly.
The Visitation will be 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home.
The Graveside Service will follow at 10:45 a.m. at the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with Full Air Force Honors.
