Mrs. Gish graduated from Main Avenue High School and Our Lady of the Lake University.
She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church and was a devoted Sunday School Teacher. She was also a member of the Daughters of the King and Women of St. Mark's and a longtime Lenten Lunch "Biscuit Passer".
Mrs. Gish taught school at Lamar Elementary and was Past President of the Bluebird Auxiliary Volunteers at Methodist Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom D. Gish. Survivors: daughter, Marijane Gish; son, Tom Gish and his wife, Carolyn; all of San Antonio, grandsons, Rob and Matthew Gish.
