Tomas P. Almendarez Sr.

Beloved father and husband Tomas P. Almendarez Sr. age 77, entered the kingdom of heaven on May 19, 2012. He was born on September 22, 1934 in San Antonio, Texas. He is preceded in death by his daughter Elida A. Martinez. Survived in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Anita B. Almendarez, daughters; Linda A. Gonzales, and husband Robert Gonzales, Sylvia A. Garcia and husband Peter C. Garcia, Oralia Almendarez, Elva Almendarez, Marcelina Almendarez, Rose Montemayor and husband Andrew Montemayor, Martha Hernandez and husband Albert Hernandez, sons; Thomas Almendarez Jr., and wife Dolores Almendarez, Mario Almendarez, Armando Almendarez and wife Roberta Almendarez, 20 grandchildren; Robert Jr., Patrick and Christopher Gonzales, Thomas IV and Thomas Almandarez V, Elias, Eric, Ruben Jr., Evette, Evelyn Martinez, Mario Jr. Angelica Almendarez, Jake Almendarez, Peter Thomas and Samantha Garcia, Jennifer Gil, Andrew Jr. , Brooke Montemayor, Marcelina Almendarez, Stephanie Hernandez, 6 great grandchildren; Noah Martinez, Jacob and Marciella Martinez, Erson and Elianne Yurtman, Daniel Silva. The Almendarez Family would also like to thank La Mansion Dialysis Clinic, 134 Camino De Oro San Antonio, and TX. and Christus Hospice and Palliative Care 4241 Woodcock Dr. San Antonio, TX. A visitation will begin Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Road with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home Friday, May 25, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. mass of Christian burial at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1321 El Paso St. Interment to follow in First Memorial Burial Park.
