Tomas Zavala-Zamora

Tomas Zavala-Zamora, a devoted hardworking family man, entered into the loving arms of Our Lord on September 12, 2024. He was born on March 26, 1945 in Durango, Mexico to parents Esperanza Zamora and Juan Zavala. Tomas led a simple yet deeply meaningful life, filled with love, patience, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones.

A man of strong faith, Tomas attended daily Mass, finding peace and strength in his church community. His quiet devotion and spiritual commitment were a constant source of inspiration to those who knew him. Outside of church, Tomas enjoyed watching soccer and basketball on TV, finding joy in the simplicity of the games.

He was always calm and reassuring, providing a steady foundation for his family through both good times and challenges. His love for his family was the cornerstone of his life, and he will be remembered for his kindness, his calm demeanor, and the care he gave to those around him.

He will be reunited in heaven with wife, Carmen Torres; parents, Esperanza and Juan Zavala; siblings, Caritina Zavala, Antonio Zavala.

Tomas will always be remembered by his only daughter, Tammy Zavala, step- son Albert Limon; and many grandchildren. Siblings, Geronimo Zavala, Rafael Zavala and Luz Zavala; best friend, Antonio “Tony” Ramos; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A memorial visitation for Tomas will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237, followed by a memorial rosary at 7:00 PM.
