

He was born to Lee Roy and Betty Rose Hamm Williamson on August 19, 1958 in Tyler, Texas. He attended school in Copperas Cove and Gatesville, Texas and graduated from Gatesville High School in 1976. After graduation, he attended Texas State Technical College in Waco, Texas.
Tommy married his high school sweetheart, Melva Jacobs in 1977 and they made their home in Gatesville until 1989. He began working with H.E.B. at the age of 16 and remained for 25 years. He was proud to have managed numerous H.E.B. meat markets around central Texas. Tommy also held numerous regional and corporate positions within the company including the Warehouse Buying Office. He later joined Daymon Worldwide as a Senior Business Manager in the Food Brokerage Industry where he remained until his death.
He was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church where he served on various committees including the Board of Ministry. Tommy was an avid lover of the outdoors, whether hunting, golfing or riding his Harley. His love for fellow man was evident during his life as he donated blood and platelets and that love continued even after his death. His family and his faith were central in his life and he loved being a father and a grandfather to Jessica, Kristen and Jacob.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Melva; daughters Jessica Taylor and husband, Jeramie, and Kristen Kelley and husband, Drew; his grandson, Jacob Taylor; his parents; brother, Phillip; sister, Laurie Ramsay and her husband, Lee; mother-in-law, Lorene Jacobs; sisters-in-law, Marla Kelsey and husband, Robert and Mona Carter and husband, Andy; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family.
