Our beloved Tita was born August 8, 1944, in Austin, Texas.
She graduated from John Marshall High School and attended The University of Texas. Her priorities were always her four children, her eight grandchildren, UT Football, wine, a good book, and any product from the Lays company! She wasn't especially fond of salty pumpkin pie, vacuums or changing the oil in her car. She loved her children greatly and was their rock in good times and bad.
She is rejoicing in heaven with her father, Rufus E. Powell and her mother, Dorothy Ulit Powell.
She is survived by Amy, Jim, Morgan and Sam Cox, Barbara, Robert, and Sophie Bruce, Kurt, Elena, Jasmine, Emily and Nate Berkes, Amanda, Errol, Grace and Corbett Brigance; as well as her sister, Leigh Peek; and brother, Ross Powell, and their families.and Dino.
A private interment will be held in Navasota, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Toni's name to a charity of your choice.
