Tracy lead a long and distinguished career in the US Army. She was an Army Officer and dietician, she was a Daughter of the American Revolution; an active member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church, a recipient of the Legion of Merit Medal, earned her Expert Field Medical Badge, and also a recipient of the Order of Military Medical Merit Award and took pride in her ability to keep in shape by being an avid runner.
She is survived by her husband, Matthew Joseph Brown; daughter, Josephine Katherine Brown; son, Theodore Henry Brown; her parents, Frank and Mary Hunter and her sister, Patricia Hunter.
On Monday, April 24th, a service will be held at 1:30 p.m. at St. Matthews United Methodist Church, 2738 MacArthur View.
Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Full Army Honors.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN.
