I am thankful for the opprtunity I had to know Travis. His smile lit up the room!  I looked forward to his silly antics and attempts to make me laugh.  His eyes spoke so much more than mere words ever could.  He represented tenacity, resilience..strength, and courage...
Over the years, I've witnessed his family passionately advocate on his behalf, setting precedence, and leaving a legacy for generations to come.

It has been a privilege working with Travis for the past several years! He helped me become a better therapist and person. Travis showed me what it meant to be resilient no matter what kind of curveball life throws at you!

Thank you for sharing your wonderful son with us all at Fort Sam Houston Elementary.  Travis was a joy to work with in 4th grade science.  He challenged me to think outside of the box to become a better teacher.  Not only did he have a great sense of humor, but he also had a zeal for learning!  He will be greatly missed.

I have no doubt that Travis is in a wonderful place and wish nothing but happiness and peace for his family.  It was a privilege knowing him and those closest to him. Thank you for that.   Mary Edwards

I had the privilege to work with Travis for the past 8 years. His humor and the use of his technology was an inspiration to me! He was a joy and will be greatly missed.

It was a wonderful privilege to be Travis' teacher for these past several years. He lived his life with dignity, grace, and a glorious sense of humor. I will miss that twinkle in his eye and his mischievous grin. He will live in my heart forever.

Please accept my condolences and prayers to your family.  Travis touched so many people's lives.  He had a great sense of humor that often could be misinterpreted as stubbornness.  In reality,  he just wanted to see how long it took to get a laugh or smile out of you!  I will always remember his smile and what a delight it was to know him. It was a privilege to have such an outstanding young man of faith as a great-nephew. His legacy of inspiration will live on through the lives he touched by the way he lived his 18 short years. I can remember that happy, laughing boy that I met in 2002 and how much joy and love there was in his eyes. We know he is at peace with the Lord, and that he will be greatly missed.

Oh my goodness every one of those photos told such a beautiful story of an amazing young man! They captured the essence of Travis and depicted the very reason everyone that met him fell in love with him. I was blessed to be his teacher and if I'm honest, he taught me so much more than I could have ever taught him. Thank you Travis for your smiles that brightened every day, your wit and charm that instantly won me over and your love that was the best kind...felt rather than spoken with words. I'm happy to know I'll be seeing you again in heaven one day...
