Dan was born July 21, 1929 in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Lanier High School and the University of Texas Pharmacy School in 1951.
Dan served in the US Air Force from 1955 - 1958 as a First Lieutenant. He devoted his life to his family and his career as a Pharmacist.
Dan is survived by his loving wife, Susie Santos Parada of 54 years; daughters, Melinda Galvan and husband, Rick, Yolanda Slavin and husband, William Jr.; Sandra Marin and husband, Louis; and Mary Nelda Lozano and husband, Roy; grandchildren, Danielle Marin, Briana Lozano, James Marin, Anthony Lozano, Gabby Lozano, Victoria Slavin and Catherine Galvan; sisters, Emilia Ramirez and Dolores Garcia.
The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the professional staff at St. Luke's Baptist Hospital for their compassionate care for Dan.
