Tyler Lee-Davis Oberholtzer

With shattered hearts and deep faith, we share the passing of our beloved Tyler, who left this world on November 23, 2025. Tyler was a bold and fearless soul—blunt, strong, and unafraid to stand firmly in who he was. Yet within that strength lived a vast inner universe that made his journey more complicated than most.

He was beautifully individualistic, wonderfully quirky, and carried a gentle, caretaking spirit beneath his tough exterior. Tyler loved with a magnitude that could fill worlds, and the space shaped by his love will remain forever sacred. He gave his heart freely, protected his family fiercely, and held a special, unbreakable bond with his mother and brother.

Though he wrestled with quiet inner storms, Tyler’s spirit was bright, driven, inquisitive, and retained a child-like virtue. We believe he has now found the peace and clarity his soul longed for, resting in a place where his burdens are finally lifted and his light can shine freely.

A service honoring Tyler’s life and Spirit will be held on Sunday, December 7, at Porter Loring North at 2PM. Please feel free to come early to visit with family and friends if you would like, as services start promptly at 2.

Rest gently, sweet Tyler. You are free. You are loved. You are home with your Dad, your sister Madalynn, your Oma and Opa, Grandpa Glen, Papaw Henry and countless other loved ones who are holding you in the Light.
