All will cherish the memories made with her.
Ursula was often described as a force of nature. An immigrant from war torn Germany, she arrived in America on September 1948 full of hopes and dreams. She left behind everyone and everything she knew, to start a new life. As a girl, she had often dreamed of living in America, the place of unimaginable opportunity. Ursula had a heart for homemaking. She loved gardening and working with her hands. Her gardens reflected her big personality: always blooming with life. She was also a very talented seamstress and was very proud when people would comment on her beautiful work. Needless to say she took pride in everything she did.
In addition, she felt an obligation to help others. Years back, she opened her home to Veterans, who were part of a housing program, sponsored by the Veterans Administration. These men soon became part of the family as Ursula would not have it any other way. She will be a hard act to follow. Family will be hosting a celebration of life later on in the year.
