Lt. Col Mary E. "Betty" Frazee, age 95, died on Sunday, July 3, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. Betty was born on September 18, 1920 in Knoxville, Tennessee, to Murray Bennett Frazee and Caroline Matthews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Caroline Matthews Frazee and Murray Bennett Frazee; brother, Murray Bennett Frazee Jr.
Betty is survived by two Nieces, Nancy Poor and Sally Frazee; two Nephews, James D. Frazee and Murray Bennett Frazee III.
Betty spent 27 years in the US Army and US Army Medical Specialist Corps as a Physical Therapist. She received her Bachelors from Gettysburg College and Masters in education from New York University. Betty was the very first resident to move into the Towers.
She was a proud member and Deacon of First Presbyterian Church. Volunteered diligently at Sid Peterson Hospital in Kerrville and Brooke Army Medical Corps.
