

He is preceded into Heaven by his wife, Merry Bliss Keene Burnett and son, Ross Bateman Burnett.
He is survived by his son, Albert Franklin Burnett and daughter-in-law, Cheryl Ann Healey Burnett; grandchildren, Taylor Beth Spear Burnett Ridge and her husband Ryan Ridge, Travis Bateman Burnett, and Alli Ross Benton Burnett; and great grandchildren, Anna Marie Ridge, Avery Bliss Ridge and Devin Ross Burnett and his mother, Natalia McCallum.
Albert Burnett was born and raised in San Antonio, TX, an active Boy Scout, Acolyte at Saint Mark's Episcopal Church, Life Member and longtime Secretary of the Windcrest Lion's Club, graduated from Brackenridge H.S. Class of 1941 and Texas A&M College Class of 1945. He is the reason the United States of America enjoys its freedoms, by defending this Great Nation as a member of the United States Army Air Corps and Air Force. He's a Veteran of World War II (B-17), Korea (B-29), Cold (B-36), and Vietnam (B-52) Wars.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2017,1:30 p.m., at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 315 E. Pecan.
