LtCol Edith Joyce Aitken, USAF (Ret), age 67, passed away May 12, 2012, in Littlefield, TX. She was born February 16, 1945 in Lubbock, Texas to Llewellyn and Loretta Jones. She proudly served our country on active duty for over 21 years until her retirement from the US Air Force in 1989. She was a guardian, someone of uncommon strength of character. She loved being outdoors and working in her yard. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her deeply. Edith is survived by her husband of 41 years, Col James Graham; son, Cortney Eric and wife Kerry; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Aitken; mother, Loretta Jones; brother, Llewellyn Jones and wife Janice. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday May 22, 2012 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
