MSgt. Rodney Moore Sanders, USAF (ret.),age 70, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, in San Antonio. He was born in Sweet Water, AL on July 25, 1944. He served in the Air Force for 20 years and is also a veteran of the Vietnam War. In 1982, he retired as a Master Sergeant.
He owned and operated Rod Dogs Saloon for over 20 years as well. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Madeline Moore; and his son, Billie Gene Sanders.
Survivors include his daughter, Zentralsta Anne Kelley of Houston, three grandchildren, Douglas MacArthur Donovan of Fort Worth, Billy Moore Sanders of San Antonio, and April Sanders of San Marcos; and many loving friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, January 20th, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
