He was a life-long member of Coker United Methodist Church and past president of the Coker Cemetery Association, served as a coach and District Administrator of Little League Baseball in Texas and was the Executive Secretary of the 124th Signal Radio Intelligence Company.
Royce proudly served in the US Army and was a WWII Veteran.
Royce is proceeded in death by his parents, Vivian Lee and Bertha J. Coker Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jeanette Stanfield Jones; his brothers, LTC. Garland M. Jones, USAF retired; Reginald C. Jones and grandson, John Touchton.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 7, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Porter Loring.
