Valentin N. Correa was born on May 21, 1923 in Lockhart, Texas to Martin Correa and Epifania Navejar. On June 17, 2020, he was called home to be with the Lord at the blessed age of 97 years old.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Eugenia, Manuela, Santana, Jacinta; and his granddaughters, Janel and Courtney.

Valentin is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Francisca H. Correa; his children; Juan Garza and his wife Margie, Jose Angel Garza, Nora Villarreal and her husband Hilario, and Jaqueline Casas and husband, Trinidad; his brother, Nicanor Correa; his grandchildren, Brenda, Valerie, Melanie, Crystal, Amanda, John and Valerie G; and his numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews who all loved him.

We would like to thank our father for showing us what a hardworking man truly is and for teaching us how to be responsible, respectful, sincere and honest. He will truly be missed.

The family will be receiving friends for a Visitation on Tuesday, June 23rd at Trevino Funeral Home - 226 Cupples Road 78237 - beginning at 5:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. On Wednesday, June 24th, a Funeral Mass will take place at San Juan De Los Lagos at 10:00 a.m., with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery III.
