Valentin is survived by his wife of 53 years, Emilia S. Garza, Brothers: Baldemar Garza & Manuel Garcia, Sisters; Antonia Reyes & Consuelo Favela, Children; Letti Garza (Steve), Valentin Garza JR (Isabel), Ruben Garza (Delia), Albert Garza, Catherine Garza, Victoria Garza (Jennifer), Armando Garza & Arcadio Garza (Mayra) Grandchildren; Michelle, Esther, April, Yvette, Elida, Anthony, Rachel, Christopher, Lisa, Isaac, Robert, Elizabeth, Regina, Lisa, Summer, Gabriel, Isaiah, Taylor, Brooke, Alex & Emily, Great-grandchildren; Zackery, Taylor, Isabelle, Michael, Madison, Joe, Leah, Esther, Christopher, Malachi, Eric, Daymein, Ella, Zeke & Charlotte.

Valentin was born on April 2, 1936 in San Antonio, TX. His surviving family remembers him as a giving, generous man. His life was dedicated to bringing people to God. He will be remembered as a leading figure in the community.

The Visitation will be held Wed. Sept. 27, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples 78237 with The Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. The Chapel Service will be held Thurs. Sept. 28, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at The Funeral Home with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Valentin's life.
