Valentin "Val" Morin Jr.

Valentin “Val” Morin Jr. entered into the loving arms of our Lord on July 26, 2022, at the tender age of 60. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, on January 24, 1962, to Conception Abad and Valentin Morin Sr.

Valentin was the eldest of ten children. He was a very hard-working husband. He attended Wheatley High School. Valentin was a great cook, especially if a grill was involved with a cold Budweiser in his hand. His barbecue brisket and chicken were the family favorites. The whole family was sure to have a great meal if Valentin was cooking. Besides cooking, Valentin was a Rock N Roll fan. He loved classic rock bands like Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Legs Diamond, Metallica, Gun’s N Roses, and many others. If the band was coming to town, you knew Valentin was attending the concert. He collected Classic albums and CDs from his favorite bands. Valentin was an avid fisherman as well. He fished in many creeks, rivers, and lakes around town. He would catch catfish, red drum, or whatever was available.

Valentin will be reunited in heaven with his father, Valentin Morin Sr., and brother, Trinidad Morin.

His memory will live on forever in his wife, Lydia Morin; mother, Conception Morin; children, Priscilla Morin, Stacy Schafer, Valentin R. Schafer, Tiffani Morin, Alyssa Garza, and Rhiannon Morin. Siblings Jessie, Alfred, Macario, Betty, Joseph, Albert, Kelly, and Johnny Joe; numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family.
